new country, same old div

I think most people in a new country and after a day of flying wouldn’t spend their first night getting drunk. I am however not your normal person! Read more

d.Construct – the food

As I had the weekend in Brighton I wanted to make the most of it by indulging on yet another of my passions – good food!!! I had heard that Brighton had a number of good places, some had been suggested to me, others just looked nice and others I had seen on TV. I managed to get into one each of these and I am still feeling pretty full from all this – and I don’t think my waist-line is very happy! Read more

d.Construct – the socialising

backnetworking and after conference drinking

With just about a week to go before the much mentioned d.Construct get under way I want to thank the maker (Glenn Jones) of the d.Construct backnetwork – it really is a thing of beauty. Not only has it allowed for me it see what other people have written about the conference but also allowed me to set up a list of people I know who are attending, get yet another picture and profile of me up on the web and most greatly of all won the argument with work colleagues that microformats are very very cool indeed! A very good birthday

Well I have to say most people I know forgot but last week (Thursday, 20th July) was my 25th birthday!!!!!!

I had the day off work, I chilled, I went to the new arsenal stadium (wow of kicks so much ass!), I hung out with my uncle then went to a very good restaurant. After finishing there I had a nice relaxing walk through St James Pary back to my house where I remembered that it was only Thursday and that I had to go to work in the morning!!!! Thankfully everyone was still happy with me as I made them a very good cake a few days previous.

So while it wasen’t the best birthday ever it was certainly very nice indeed – I just hope next year more people remember!
