to 2013 and beyond…

If this blog is anything to go by all I ended up doing in 2012 was kill off a website, LOOK for a new member of the Mozilla Foundation WebDev team and rage tweet to near comedic levels. Thankfully that doesn’t paint the entire picture but it’s not like anyone really knows this as instead I decide to talk about my beer consumption and how angry I am at various things; I want 2013 to be better. The Queen of Sheba – eaten and reviewed

As I have been saying for a while now one of the things that I most enjoy about London is how totally cosmopolitan the place is. Growing up in a town that at the time had maybe one Indian restaurant and one pizza place the variety really is something to be proud of. Benares – eaten and reviewed

Once in a while everyone should give himself or herself a little treat. With it being my birthday (20th July for anyone interested for next year) I though the time was right for one of my little treats by heading off to my favourite restaurant, Benares in Berkeley Square.

A nice medium rare steak, cut with a nice big steak knife always makes me think I am a caveman, eating my catch and enjoying it (though thankfully for everyone involved with more clothes and less hair). Hawksmoor has received much praise in my restaurant bible (TimeOut), being called not only the second best steak restaurant in London but also the second best bar. Would they get a good review from Ross though!? Read more

Dragon Castle – eaten and reviewed

Local restaurants are a thing that I base my judgement of an area on – the more the better. Of course living in Elephant and Castle means I don’t really have many any of them that I would go to confidently though of course I’m always ready to try most things! I was therefore very interested to hear that a new, rather grand looking Chinese restaurant had opened up and it was causing quite a stir with glowing reviews from what seemed like everyone to go there – it went on the list and last week I went there!
